Need website review

Post it here, I've done it in the past and got some very positive feedback.

I have this website that I need some feedback and here is the link

How much would you pay if you intend to buy this site?

Straightforward and honest answer...as it is, it's awful, but not hopeless. A few tweaks should clean it right.

First and foremost, Rich is correct, this would be better for WordPress, and there are a zillion free templates out there that would make it look better.

However, if you want to keep it static and clean it up, here are my suggestions:
1. Where's the logo? It really needs a logo somewhere, the best place would be where the mailing list sign up form is currently located.
2. Move the mailing list signup preferably to the side or bottom.
3. This is a tad brutal but please get rid of those horrible Google ads, or move them, pleeease.
4. The content is too close to the edges, you need some padding my friend, about 20px on the left and right side of your innercontent div.
5. Your page is not wide enough, especially for a two column layout like you have. Try expanding your pageinner div to 960px. That will look much better and will allow your content to breath.
6. I'm not diggin' the layered images at the bottom. It's flashy but not efficient. When you hover over one, it's hard to hover over the images behind it.
7. I'm not sure what you used to create this with but you've got some crazy looking code going on in there. Your content is not even in the inner content div, rather outside laying on top of everything.

What did you use to create this site?

A smart business person would likely purchase the site based upon how much it is earning. (Usually you will get around 2.5 times your website's earnings, last I heard).

So, if your site is earning $1000 a year, you might be able to sell it for $2500. (These are very rough numbers, of course.

Most people aren't going to buy a website just because it looks pretty. Instead, they want to know how much it earns. (The exception to this could be if you have an awesome domain name or if your traffic has really been trending upward).
