Does anyone know about an editor that you can upload your current Word Press Themes and edit / customize them?

I don't know of any such tool. Generally if you want to change anything, you go into the WP Appearance/Theme/Edit menu and change the PHP or CSS.

There is something called Artesteer which some people use to create themes. But beware of such stuff. I bought a premium theme from Themeforst for one of my clients. It was supposed to be the hottest theme over there and the demo looked great. After installing it, I found it was rife with errors and did not work properly in different scenarios. I ended up making a lot of changes to make it usable.

Artisteer is a cool tool that allows you to create good-looking and professional themes in minutes.

Artisteer is good and getting better all the time. Unfortunately, you still need to have a design sense, and people without that are using it anyway and turning out some pretty horrible crap.

You create templates with Artisteer, and you can only edit them if you have the Artisteer native file, not just the template generated from the native file. You cannot edit any other template from any other supplier with Artisteer.

You need to upgrade and set up a wordpress work environment on your desktop. I'm using xampp myself.

    Here ya go!

The six revision tutorial is more indepth but they have a bunch of steps that I've never done. It's actually a pretty quick procedure to get it all up n' running. Then you can play with wordpress on your computer until your heart is content or when your internet is down.

I have had some experience with Artisteer in the past. The program is great and as long as you save your templates as a Artisteer file you can easily go back later and make changes.
