Video Marketers. I need your help.

I am in the process of creating my first product and it will be a video series. Here is my question. If i create videos how long maximum should each video be for it to download fine etc on the media players or does that not matter?

Next question is what type of video camera will work best for this? Maybe the flip?

As I see it I'll need to make the videos, upload the videos onto my PC then upload the video files onto my server, build a site with a good sales page and market it. Then point the buy button to the link where the videos are for easy download.

Is this the right direction of thinking?

    I think there is no right or wrong answer to the length of the video- if the content turns out to be too long, u can always break the video up into 2-3 segments.

    The direction of make videos, upload from hardrive to service, make sales page, market it, point buy button 'Thank you page' to the videos.- yes, your direction summerized seems pretty much right.

    I would also suggest putting mini 30 sec clips on youtube, create an account with the name of your product and upload them all there, in the info put a link to your sales page.

    The camera should film at least 30 frames per second. Some cameras film at 15 FPS, and their quality is not too good.

      How do I insure I get good audio on my videos? Do you guys use a extra mic closer to the person in the video or do you just use the built in mic from the camcorder?
