LOL, tiplet. Is that a word? Anyhow... The "norm" as of late is to place two links with your keyword phrase(s) as links text and a linked URL. From what I see, a significant amount of people, when clicking through to other people's websites from a resource box, actually click on the linked URL. I just wanted to post this little tiplet for those that do not include a linked URL and instead use linked keyword phrase(s) only. I would suggest giving a linked URL a shot. BUT... You should always test. So if you haven't been using a linked URL, give it a shot. Replace one of your text links with a linked URL in 20 or so articles and compare your results! In most cases, you'll be pleasantly surprised. ![]() Respectfully, Allen Graves |

Very helpful, except most people use the anchored text for SEO purposes. I would use both link styles, if the site allows for two links. Otherwise, it's a matter of deciding which is more important to you...the long-term SEO benefits or the immediate traffic you receive from the article alone. I personally would go for the SEO.

I should have mentioned that this was meant for those that do in fact let you post more than one link. Thanks, AL |
