I have an upcoming interview with business radio station soon. One of the questions is what skills do successful internet marketers have that makes them special?

What's your thoughts, opinions or insights on that question?

Good grammar, punctuation, and the ability to answer interview questions. Man, that sucks for you. Do you want me to do the interview?

Calm down. I'm just kidding.... sort of.

Top internet marketers like Eben Pagan and Frank Kern are all great communicators who trigger the right emotional buttons that make people want to buy. In addition, they know how to identify the right problems and come up with the right solutions. They also add tremendous value to their customers. So I'd say -

      1) Communicate well
      2) Know what to sell
      3) Add great value

    1. I like the communication answer everyone is giving. If you can communicate well, you can sell. If you can communicate well, you can create. If you can communicate well, driving traffic is a breeze. In an info-economy, if you're good with doling out info, you've got what it takes to be good at your job. Simple as that.

    2. That all too rare ability to focus. To ignore what might, potentially be greener pastures somewhere else...maybe, and instead get on with the all-important task of mastering one method at a time. Even if you communicate well, if you can never quite decide what you'd like to communicate *about*, or which method of communication you *prefer*, you'll end up going in circles forever.

    3. That old devil persistence. Once you've got your brain focused, it's just a matter of putting one foot in front of the next. Doing what needs to be done, even if it's over and over again. Doing it when you'd rather be doing other things. Refusing to make excuses and refusing to accept delays. No power in the universe is greater than that of focused, determined, persistent action.
