Yes, virtual credit cards are ok, as long as you don't get one that expires after
one transaction. A good option is to use a prepaid credit card. If you look
around you will find several available. It will take a few days to actually receive
the physical card. When you get the card, you will have to put money into it,
so be sure you find one that has loading locations near you for convenience. I
know Western Union has one with locations all over the USA. I haven't done it,
but I don't see why you couldn't use one from Walmart. Just be sure when you
go to have the card verified, that you have money it because eBay will process
    a small charge on it.

Most of these prepaid cards that I've seen charge a small monthly fee. Some
don't charge you anything if you don't have a balance. Some charge you monthly
and if you don't use the card, you will be charged retroactively the months you
didn't use the card. So if you carried no balance for 4 months, you'll be charged
for 4 months of service to use the card again.

You could also shop around for a traditional card online and get an answer within
seconds after filling out the form. You may get one.

    Hope that helps.
