Open Office Impress Won't Make A Clickable Link???

I just made a presentation in Open Office that has some links to some sites. The little 'hand' hovers over the link and even shows me the url, but when I click, it doesn't open the browser and go to the site.

I have clicked
double clicked
and control clicked

Anyone else have this, and possibly fixed it?

Thanks,
Dani

I'm not familiar with Open Office Impress, but if they have a Code view,
you can check it out and see what the code is looking like. If you don't
understand the code, copy/paste it here and we can check it out.

And if you understand the situation, you may just have to settle on hand
coding each link as the need arises.

I can't see the code. I did export it to pdf though, and in the pdf the links are clickable.

The end user has to be able to add to this doc though, so a pdf won't work.

I am not sure what is going on. I just made a slide show, well, a single slide with a link on it, and saved it and then ran slide show and the link worked just fine.

          Hey Michael,
Yes, when the slide show is running, the links are clickable. The problem is that the presentation has a field where the user can input data, but when it's in slide show, as soon as they click in the field to do that, they end up clicking to the next slide.

I did it in OpenOffice so that anyone could open it, but I tried it in PowerPoint too, just to check, and PowerPoint does the same thing.

Have you tried deleting all the clickable links and re-typing them?
