Ok, I'm writing here because I want to make a preventive market research for my wordpress theme.
I just finished building a very useful theme for wordpress and I'm here to ask if you would be interested and if I can sell it.
Here's what are the features I've implemented:
1. You can enable/disable the sidebar for posts and for pages. Ok, that's not a particular feature but I've added a twist, you can do that FOR EACH post. It means that you can enable the sidebar for a post and disable for another one.
Just think, you can disable the sidebar in those "pure reviews" posts where you want your reader to be focused and you can enable the sidebar in those "support" articles.
2. There is an already-made "about me" section in the sidebar. Everybody knows how it's important to show a "face" and tell who you are to increase trust in you.
3. You can link to each post a particular image ads box that will be shown in the sidebar.
4. You can choose what pages to show in the footer.
5. There's a built-in simple featured box that is shown in the home page. You can choose what articles to be "featured" directly when/where you write your post.
6. You can add a subtitle to your post-title. It's useful if you want to add more content to your title.
7. You can easily add a thumbnail for your post. And it will be shown only if you have really selected it.
8. You can easily manage some "social" features like Twitter, Facebook and RSS.
9. You can choose what post meta tag (like comments, data, author and so on...) to display with your post.
All is done in a very, very clean a clear interface. You can manage everything with the built-in control panel.
Absolutely you will not have to deal with code.
I want to be totally honest with you so I'm going to list pros and cons of my theme.
This theme is for you if you're going to build niche blogs or in general if you're not going to build too big websites. Anyway, its use is totally about you and you can manage yourself how to use it.
I'm not going to show screenshots here but this is an "on blue/lightblue" template if you want know the color.
