Monetizing Sidebar Dilemma...

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey Gang,

I want to add a second links/blogroll section to my sidebar on my wordpress blog to monetize affiliate products. I know I have to definitely cloak these links, but I am wondering if I also have to do the following...

Should I set these links as no-follow? If this is so, I can't figure out how to do so, because it seems that wordpress doesn't allow us to create nofollow links for the sidebar... Does anyone know how to create links in the wp-sidebar as nofollow?

If you want to manually do it, just use the text/arbitary html widget.

  use subdomains then you can easily track them and change the offer as you test different stuff.
