You should have the purpose of the site somewhere more prominent. Took me a little bit to figure out what the site was even about. Could just be me though.

Oh, your site and product are great.
To improve conversion, you can join some iPad plugin or software network.
In fact, lots of people now have iPad,
You can tell them what your product can do for them in social network: Twitter, Facebook and iPad fan forum, etc. They can be very effective.

A lot of it will be based on where your traffic comes from, but I do agree with Landis. It was hard for me to figure out exactly what the website was about initially. You did a great job with the design and The next step will be to test out different copy and placement to see what works best. Good luck

Pretty cool site. It's free and you're having conversion problems? Try using more of an compelling, emotional headline. Maybe people are not sticking around long enough to really "get it". It seemed pretty straightforward to me though.

I'm really tired now, so the creative juices aren't flowing too fast, or I'd give you a few headlines. I might even have to use the site myself. Do you offer any help getting apps/books approved for the iTunes store? Is that your business model?

Okay, I read farther and saw that it's $150 to get published. In that case, you need to demonstrate how profitable it is to publish books for the iPAD. Use an emotional tie in to get people to connect with the idea of being a published author with a real book (or at least an e-book for the iPAD) and show them how profitable it can be. They need to be able to justify the $150 fee in terms of ROI.

I'm going to come back and look at this tomorrow when my brain's working on at least 7 cylinders.

  • Here's what I would do:

    1) Replace the header slider with a short and minimalistic (almost cartoonish) video explaining what the website is about. It took me a while to figure out what the site is about. Slides look cool but are not really userful in my opinion. A quick video will do the job much better.

    2) Change the green palette for another color. Green looks ugly.

I think and believe you should keep it short, simple and to the point. Umm, may be you can change the look a bit.

You guys are rocking my socks off...this is JUST what I need. Any other ideas on how to convey what the site is all about?

(it is software that allows non-programmers to make an iPad book and publish it to the App Store. So couple of key points: NON-PROGRAMMERS can CREATE AN IPAD BOOK, and MAKE MONEY through the app store. I want that clear within seconds of visiting the site)
