I am trying to find a good way to structure my lists on Aweber and good really do with some advice.

Currently I have 5 lists in the same niche. 2 of these of for product sites, 1 is for buyers and 2 are from squeeze pages. Some people are subscribed on more than 1 list etc.. I have 1 main list which is for one of the product sites and I have on/off tried using automation to add people to this list or not.

I guess what I am asking is what is the bets structure for this. I am currently writing a 1 year long email series for the main list but I still don't want to remove the squeeze pages as they convert well.

Is it best to have people added to the main list automatically and then remove people from the squeeze lists after they have received the 5 email series they get through them? Any advice on the best way to structure this would be very helpful as I really am not sure.

I also was wondering about how often you clean non-responsive people on your list and what you consider to be non-responsive?

Thanks

With AWeber, I recommend making extensive use of
    the auto-subscribe and auto-unsubscribe features
    to segment your lists effectively:

Can I Add Subscribers to More Than One List At Once? :: AWeber Knowledge Base (no affil.)

So, set-up a Master List that contains everyone.

Set-up a prospect list and a buyer list for each product.

Then when you set-up a squeeze page to pre-sell a
    particular product, use the subscribe-on-subscribe
feature to automatically subscribe someone to your
Master List when they join the Prospect List for your
    first product.

Rather than focusing on building a one year long general
    one-size-fits-all autoresponder series, I'd recommend
focusing on building highly relevant AR series to move
Product 1 prospects into buyers. Then build out your
other AR series for the next step you want them to
take in your funnel (e.g. buy Product 2).

The goal is to segment your lists effectively so that you
send highly relevant messages to people based on the
lists they've decided to join (e.g. via the squeeze page,
    via a product purchase).

It takes work - but it pays off when you get higher
    readership, response and more purchases.

    I hope that helps you.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun

How about getting your lists in order offline first in CSV or txt format, then sorting them out on aweber so that you have not crap in them?

    Hope that helps :-)
