How much should I sell my site for? Looking for advice..

Hey everyone,

I decided I wanted to get rid of one of my affiliate sites, which has earned me around $420 within the last 10 months in commissions. I do not want to spend more time trying to monetize it further/write more articles or do any work with it, so I'd like to sell it on flippa.com.

About how much could this site sell for? I'm really hoping above $300, but I could be very wrong as I've never sold a site before. Looking on flippa at other listings isn't exactly helping either, their prices vary so much it seems. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Its worth what the buyer will pay.

It's like selling a used car.

Pick your price... show some proof of profit. Then let the market do what it does.

People want to see not only what it's making but what it could make in the future. And they want to see some incoming link structure.

$300 is a good price. Just start with $1 and then see what happens :-))

I hope you will sell it for more

You could usually charge 10x or more your monthly earnings.
On the other hand, I just tried to sell my adsense site which gets 40 dollars per month and it did not even get a bid.

You did nt mention about the sites overall position in search engines. But the amount of money you have made in the last 10 month suggested that you have a good website. So based on it I also recommend $300 to $450 would be a reasonable price you can ask for.

    • Usually a site can be sold for 10x what it made within a month. So if you made around $40/m then it would be worth roughly $400.
