How Many Of You Promote Clickbank Products In The IM Niche?

I am curious as to how many of you promote Clickbank products as an affiliate in the IM/MMO niche? (Vendors you can tell me if you get a lot of affiliates promoting your products if you want )

So, if you are an affiliate marketer in IM/MMO do you promote CB products and are you succeeding in doing that? Do you find it worth your time, or do you go after products that are not on CB? Thanks in advance!

I've promoted them in other niches with success, and I just recently got into the IM niche, about a week ago.

I've already made 2 sales from a clickbank product I recommended in an ebook I wrote.

Are some people going to the affiliate page and purchasing through their link? Maybe.. I'd prefer if the products I promoted were with different affiliate networks, but I promote what I believe in, not what's on a certain network.

That's good! The reason I started the thread was because I was curious about the IM/MMO market with affiliates and CB because there has been so much controversy about the network and them being honest etc.

I just want to know who is actually doing well as an affiliate using the CB network in this market. I realize some people will not do well at all, and yet some are killing it.

personally, i market other CB products (non-IM related), because by the time i get interested in the market i wanna promote , the product is already unmarketable. you can do it dont get me wrong but if your looking to buil a fast sustainable affiliate business i suggest you go for the low hanging fruit, make little money, enough to leave your day job, and actually dedicate the time to rank high on google for IM products

So is it me or are the IM products on CB not being promoted like they used to be? I realize other non-IM products are being promoted quite well and successfully. I just wonder why the IM products aren't - if that's really the case.

    • I've had a bad experience with IM products, but I know there's a lot of people on this forum making good money in this Niche.

I found IM products to be the easiest to sell, but extremely bad for refund rates.

I wouldn't say you see them "dominating." There are a lot of them, but that doesn't mean affiliates are making good money from them. It also doesn't mean the products are really selling very well either.

So which ones ARE selling well?

That you will have to do your research on. But I can tell you that just because the product has a lot of affiliates doesn't mean the product is doing well. It just means the product has a lot of people TRYING to promote it. It just depends on how the affiliates market the product and if the product is good or junk. If it's junk, then the product owner is probably getting a lot of refunds if any sales.

Most of the IM product that I promote are
NOT on CB, and it's because I like higher
ticket products, don't care for products
where my prospects are inclined to give
themselves an instant discount, and the
average refund rates on CB in that niche
    are CRAZY.

As far as all of the recent noise is
    concerned, I think that's more a factor
    of product quality, vague salesletters
    promising pushbutton solutions without
telling you what those solutions actually
are, and some product owners who probably
    don't give a crap.

I do make good sales of some CB products
in the IM niche, but those are all by
marketers that I have known for a long time,
and that do live up to a very highly level
    of ethics.
