Do Your Outsource Your Articles/Blogs?

I outsource all my writing because I don't enjoy it.

Outsourcing is a major key to fast success, you write a small check to cash a bigger check. Yes I outsource, I outsource as much as I can.

There's a Warriors for Hire section here on the forum. Check out who's offering what, and find somebody you're comfortable with, that you can also afford.

Most of the people who write content for a living are going to be pretty prolific posters, too. Or at least pretty verbose when they do get around to it. You can search past posts by user name.

Even if you're not a great writer, most people can tell good writing when they see it. Pick someone cheap whose posting style agrees with you, try them out, and if it doesn't work for you, move on to the next candidate.

I view work samples of many different writers and create an excel to compare pricing. I have a go to writer who delivers superior work, but she is a bit more expensive. For cheap stuff I sometimes use

I always try to create my own content because I stick to topics that I love so it is easier to write. If I am too busy and have other projects going on, then I outsource my articles.

I love writing, but there's no way I would find the time to write everything. That's one of the strange things about outsourcing - sometimes you can enjoy something, but it's just a better use of your time to become the overseer rather than the worker.

For articles and blog posts, I write everything that's on my blog, and almost everything I've released as an article under my own name (I think the only things that aren't mine is the odd bit of content for Squidoo lenses). I mainly use writers to produce content for niche sites and to produce the articles to build backlinks to the niche sites.

Yes, we outsource our article writing to many different places. The problem with outsourcing to offshore individuals /companies though is you really have to check their work, english, grammar etc.

In this example of outsourcing to paid services we pay anywhere from $5 - $15 per article.

One GREAT way to free content is to hire college interns. We now have 8 of them and they write terrific articles, especially if you give them the write theme / topic / keyword.

I prefer writing my own content, but with so much to do, that is not possible many times. So yes, I outsource some of it now. It is all a part of a growing business, but that's a good thing!

I outsource 80-90% of my writing nowadays to an American writer who does a great job.

It just depends on the purpose of your blog/website.

If one builds the blog/website to express his own feelings and thoughts, needn't to worry about other things. Maybe he needn't outsource.

If one builds the blog/website to be a platform for everyone, including himself to share the specified topic of articles. Then he can outsource.

Maybe you'll not have the time to write about your subject. However, if the only reason you don't is you don't like writing about the subject, you should go for something else.

If you hire someone, don't get those $0.01/words article. Pay at least $0.02 and try to build a relationship with your writer. Don't get a new one.

I do not outsource any of my blog posts or articles. Sometimes, it does take some effort to come up with a topic. Once I do, however, the process of writing generally is not too difficult. I usually write a rough draft on a notepad, or wordpad, and then revise it as needed. After the writing aspect is done, I add in a photograph(s). If I have previously written an article that relates to the current topic, I will link the two.

While I have thought about outsourcing, I am simply more comfortable having control over doing this. In addition, I like writing, so this obviously influences the situation.

I usually enjoy writing my first few articles, after that I get very annoyed with my niche and start outsourcing.

Sorry my last post wasn't the clearest because I had dinner on the brain.

So for my personal blog - Timothy Castleman - is 100% written by me due to my style/voice/etc.

However for affiliate sites - like WP Member Champ Review | We Review WP Member Champ And See If It Lives Up To The Hype I have people write articles for me in addition to a video I shot for the site.

So 96.7% of that site is outsourced. You can see the article quality - I haven't had to edit the articles very much.

I did not outsource my article writing so far.But I think soon I have to go with that option as I don't get enough time to write them and it is necessary to keep my sites alive also.

I think, outsourcing is a great tool and is vital to any business when work load demands it. After all, the reader appreciates good information on her topic of interest. But I agree, it is different when you nurtured a blog over a period of time which covers a subject matter you are passionate about, then outsourcing seems out of the question especially as people get to know your voice. In this case, it makes sense to invite guest writers to your blog to contribute and add different view points of their own, benefiting the readers as well as the webmaster.

You have to be a good managing editor if you intend to outsource successfully. That means you need to know what you want your finished product to read like and be able to communicate that to the writer. Don't assume the writer is going to read your mind and return what you're thinking if you haven't told him/her what that is.

I wish someone would outsource some work to me!

And forgive me for seeming to enthusiastic, but I'm completely serious. I'm in a really bad financial situation right now, and facing homelessness in just a few days. I've seen people go from dead broke to having a nice cushion in just a few days on this forum, and here I am, still trying with no success.

I don't mean to toot my own horn (I really do), but I'm one of the best writers that you'll find on this forum. And yes, that's a very bold claim, but I'm just that confident in my skills; and yes I CAN back it up!

Now, obviously, I don't have the money to post a WSO or W4H thread, but I know there are Warriors who need some articles. Heck, I was just reading a post yesterday where someone said that a lot of people need to outsource, but many don't have the time to search for someone to do the job.

Where do I find these people? I mean, if they're lurking in the shadows, how am I supposed to seek them out?

It's kind of a losing battle because there's no way to know who needs what unless they tell you. And yes, I can post an offer in my signature (already did that). But, I can only hope that someone who actually needs my services will see it. Get my drift?

I really am a stellar writer, American born and raised too. I'm just searching for the opportunity to break into the market here on this wonderful forum. As of yet, though, I haven't been able to do it.

So, someone please tell me, "What does a girl (a broke one) have to do to get some work around here?"

If there's too much work, I sometimes outsource article writing. What I do is I give a topic and a quick description of what I want to see in the article. They do all the research and writing. I just edit the article if it needs more editing. It makes the job a lot easier for me.

It usually takes a little bit of trial and error before you find the right writer(s) for you. It depends on your budget, your needs (turn around time, quality, etc). Any good writer should be able to write in the "voice" you want.

One other thought is to use PLR. Of course it depends on your niches, but there are lots of excellent PLR writers on this forum who put out quality articles for peanuts and they can easily be changed up to add your personality.

outsourcing is great for writers.

i use odesk, when you hire someone makesure you check their english writing skills section.

many articles from the phillipines have great english skills.

I outsource most of my articles except the high paying jobs, because I really don't have a passion for writing. If I have a good working relationship with the writer, I will let them do the research and have full creative control. If I am working with a new writer I will inform them of the direction I want them to go and even give them some research material.

I outsource most of my writing. I find that it takes too long to do it and it is a lot cheaper to have someone else do it. I can use my time making money while other people are doing that for me.

You can find great people to do it in the Warriors for Hire section. They do a great job for not much money. I make sure that I blast the articles to the article directories and even make videos from the article content. Not counted as duplicate content as the serps don't read the content of the video. Great way to get more mileage from what you have paid good money to have created.
