How To Create A Good Landing Page?

I was hoping that the awesome warriors of this website would be able to help answer a few questions. I am fairly new to Clickbank but have noticed the power and potential of using it and promoting products. But I had a few questions about creating a good, solid, attractive landing page for the product(s).

When promoting Clickbank products, should you stick to just 1 product per page?

If you do promote multiple products on one page, what would the best approach be?

What are the most effective tips for creating a landing page?

I have created multiple pages/blogs to test out different techniques but I am most curious about my current personal blog which promotes a few products on one single page. The link in my signature "Success Tools" is what I am talking about and I would appreciate any feedback on that page. Thanks everyone!

  • I woud recommend one MAIN product on your page (whatever keyword you want to focus), and write a lot about what it does, how it works, why it makes life easy, reasons to buy, etc. Focus on that one, if it is a landing page, you don't want to give people too many choices, because it will be hard to make up their mind.

    When I think landing page, I think. . .
Get them to buy this ONE thing
    OR
Get their email and address for a second shot.

If they do buy that one product, THEN you can send them to a page with related products, and try to upgrade them to other stuff.

Make it EASY to see what you have to offer, and don't confuse them.

Thank you. I will do that

      • A review of the product works well. People respond well to other people telling them how a product worked well for them, rather than saying 'BUY THIS'.

I'm not saying make up a review and lie. Take a look at the sales page and see what real buyers are saying. Then condense that into a summary and tell your visitor what other people say about the product and outline the features of the product.

I use both methods, one product per site and multiple products, however I always keep a multi product site in the same niche. If you have multiple niches it means a lot more work is needed on the site.

(Affiliate links on the sites below...)

A single product site is like the one I'm almost finished at http://maximumsuccessuniversityreview.com

Here it's all about the one product, a review, bonus package, etc.

Or you could go the multi product site like mine at http://homestagingreview.com

This theme is the only one I could find with the nifty ratings table, and people can choose which product they want to look at from the site. This is like what we call in marketing a "yes and yes" close.

Thanks for all of the input so far. I have changed my page found in signature to one single review of a product. Hopefully this is better now. I have noticed more hops since I have changed it so it must be a positive change.
