Writing and Publishing A book, Need Help.

Hi Guys

My Goal is to Write and Publish at Least two high quality books this year in order to establish myself as an Authority in my niche.

What are in your opinion the ressources/books/programs I absolutely have to check out when it comes to both writing, getting your book published and getting it out on Amazon/other platforms?

List of things what I can suggest
    Get yourself Dragon Natural Speaking.
Visit forums related to your niche and make a list of problems the forum members face.
    Find answer/solution for those questions/problems.
Dont' break the flow of your book.
Cover as much ground as you can.
    Keep your book fluff free.
Write in a friendly manner. No heavy English unless very necessary.

I hope this will help you
    Warren.

    Undercover,

I would highly suggest you pick up this free WSO located in the War Room.

I purchased this product before it was posted here. However, it was worth it. It kicks ass. Tons of information and resources.

Pick it up now before Paul comes to his senses and takes it down

    Cheers,

      1. Write 8-10 top questions that people have about your topic. Convert each question into a chapter.

      2. Start by answering each question.

      3. Interview others for more content and include in the book.

      4. Hire a ghost writer/editor to polish and fill in the gaps

      5. Hire a book cover designer from craigslist or odesk or 99 designs. (My cover cost me $50)

      6. Hire someone with book layout experience to do your Layout. (very important) My wife did mine and it alone took 2 weeks.

      7. Set-up CreateSpace account (owned by Amazon) and upload your book.

      Additional tips...

Keep your book under 100 pages (most people don't like to read)

make your book title keyword optimized and check out your competition.

As far as writing, I use Q10 to write (it's a free program that makes your computer screen look like an old dos screen - a cursor and your words, that's it), but that's because my inclination to edit as I go really slows me down.

I have a Kindle and I have a few times clicked FB ads for Kindle books, but I've truthfully never bought. I think that sometimes offering your book for a very low (or even free) price to start makes sense. Though an informational e-book would be different than fiction. I HAVE gotten a free book though and then subsequently purchased the second in the series. (Again, fiction). I think you'll have to do some heavy outside marketing.

Use an outline to keep you on track and to make sure you don't miss things you want to include. If you're not a good proof-reader/editor, hire someone to do it for you. Poor writing will destroy your credibility in a heartbeat.

    Good luck to you!

I would try to learn as much as you can about the niche. Make sure that your book is unique as well and not just rehashed material. otherwise you will be criticized
