Need some urgent help regarding proxy servers
There must be someone out there who knows exactly what to do here: My computer shop just cleaned up a virus for me but they have also wiped off my proxy server I had loaded into my firefox browser, so now I can't preview my CPA offers.
No, I don't remember what my proxy IP was or where I got it or how I got it, (except it was free).
I live in Australia but need to be able to view CPA offers normally only viewable to restricted locations - mostly US, but other places too.
I have spent ALL DAY googling for this information, especially looking for video tutorials on it and have come up with nothing that makes any sense. (The sites usually ask for a URL, but I want them to give me an IP address, which I think my computer shop guy can then help me place in my firefox settings.
This is driving me mad. Please help, someone! I have wasted all day on this.
(Now don't post telling me how dumb I am :-). If this info was intuitive I could have worked it out by now, like the other hundred things I work out everyday online by myself! :-)
