New IP for each marketing domain?

I have a virtual dedicated server with a dedicated IP. Every time I purchase a new domain and build an affiliate site, I host the domain on that IP.

Should I be purchasing unique IPs for each domain, or is using my VDS okay for this?

Just wondering if it makes any difference in the SERPs. My guess is no.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I don't think it makes much difference to be honest.

There are thousands of shared ip sites which rank well in Search Engines. Your time is probably better spent getting a few more quality bank links than worrying about this.

delfinparis, it makes a difference if you link from your existing sites on that IP to the new site(s) - link juice from such links can be (hugely) discounted, as Google sees this as "hand washes hand". So if you want to use your own exisiting sites for promoting new sites, then getting a new IP is a good idea. Also, you need mininum C-class different IP address. Serach Google if you don't know what that means.
