Need help with traffic please!

Try and submit articles to article directories on that particular niche, comment on do follow blogs with high page rank (do a search on google with the phrase "do follow blogs") and web 2.0 sites, squidoo/hupages. There are a lot of ways to drive free targeted traffic to your blog. But try the above strategies.

If your blog is a personal one, do you have a reason you want people to visit it? To get people to genuinely visit your blog when you have nothing to offer them to buy, you will need to have great content for one. Using paid services like PPC is out I would assume if you aren't making money from this? That is usually the fastest way to get targeted traffic if you have money to spend.

I'd say a good way to get some traffic would be to visit forums related to your blog and then have a link in your signature. Doing some SEO work so that it ranks in the search engines will help as well, but that is not always a quick method.

commenting on blogs is a really good way. Other than that it takes time to build traffic. I hate when people think they can get tons of traffic overnight.

social marketing probably would be the fastest way of getting traffic.

for the long term plan SEO should be included.

Have you tried submitting blog to sites with high page rank? do blog commenting? or bookmarking your sites? I think this all can be a help to increase your traffic.

facebook is the key if it is not really a money making site

write a guide or ebook and give it away. Market this free ebook on all the social networks, blog comments, directories, and everything else mentioned. This will help drive some traffic.

My way to drive tons of traffic is YouTube. This is also where I get most of my sales from!

You can't get traffic in minutes..you have to work hard on your blog for getting continuously traffic..

This is going to sound crazy. However, I am going to rec you tube and other video services. In fact, one of my sites gets 50% of its traffic from you tube and you can use you tube to make money. Becoming a partner is a good move.

Right now many content producers are struggling to find a way. Yeah to make their web pages pay. For example, banners do not cover our expenses. Most of us are forced to use affiliate programs to push products and services.

Social media creates very little active traffic... Kick start it with some paid traffic, email advertising, and build a list -- not just the blog rss subscription. Build an email list. SEO and email advertising is still proven to be the best source of active traffic.
