How Are You Getting Them In?

Hey everyone,

It's been getting progressively harder and harder to get people to opt-in and get people on a list especially in IM. I have had success with free reports and 7 day free courses in the past.

I'd like to know what some of you are using right now to get people to opt-in to your list. Keeping them should be fairly easy if you offer good and valuable content and don't try to sell them to death.

So what do you use as an incentive? Have you had to change up from one thing to another? Do you use more than one thing such as a report and a newsletter or course? Thanks!

Simply through quality content in short doses, nothing fancy & drawn out... also, no electronic junk files piling up in the folders of my subscribers, all they get is an email. I sometimes incorporate audio/video, but with decreasing consistency (because of the effort).

I highly recommend on using auto-responders & templates, but keep it fresh... send out at least one email every 10 days. I also have fix days of the week where they can expect to receive an email & give them a short preview on what's coming in the next one. It's sort of like an magazine that I am releasing every week & I enjoy doing it.
I fully understand that and agree. Maybe you didn't read the post well enough. I was curious as to what you use as an incentive to get people to opt-in to your list.

It's getting harder and harder for people who are building lists to get subscribers because people aren't as willing to just give out their email addresses. So do you offer a course, and ebook, a newsletter? I have found courses and ebooks work. What do you use?

Send them good informations every day and they will be happy to receive e-mail from you. Give away something with your newsletter subscription look less spammer than just giving something away. Both works however. Remind inside your website to opt-in is a good way.

In my last blog post, I told them a snake will bite them if you don't opt-in .
