Traffic Building Noob -- Any Advice?

Hi, Everyone...

I am looking for a good automated system for building SERP. I am only trying to drive hits to a single site that is a Disney World fan site and I am wondering if you guys could help me with some advice on the best automated software for getting into a good position on Google?

I read through many posts here - you guys have an amazing amount of knowledge - and it seems that programs like SEnuke are excellent, but probably not optimal for someone like me, with only one site, and monetizing it only with Adsense.

Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
-Rusty-

Oh, I forgot to mention that the site is built with WordPress, if that makes any difference. -- I'd post the link, but I don't have permission yet, as I don't have a large enough post count, and I didn't want to seem like a jerk and write it out cryptically to get past the filter.

By automated I take it you mean software?

I don't really use any - just of the top of my head I would say have a look at SENuke.

I tried it and it wasn't for me - also worth taking into account the recent Google update - I believe that things are moving away from automated software and the search engines are looking for regular, well thought about, unique content.

Just something to be aware of...

    All the best,

    Chris

Thanks, Chris... Actually, I never thought about that Google update, and I should have. I wrote a lot of articles for Suite 101, and the update DESTROYED any earnings there!

      Thanks for the tip!

Yes, the key is to get your OWN sites ranking with unique content that is really high quality and that is updated on a regular basis.

Then use other sites to promote grow YOUR business and not someone else's.

Very good responses - thanks, guys.

Basically, the advice is write good content and have some patience... Rather good advice.

I feel I'm strong in the first phase of that. Being a Disney World nut, I've seen a glaring desire for a site devoted to what we Disney-philes call "Pixie Dust Stories", but I'm coming up short on that second part: patience.

I'm an old fart; you'd think I woulda learned a little about patience by now... Either that or I'm impatient because I feel the end is near.

Are you sure you are directly relaying an enticing and actionable message
to your target audience with your headlines? Also: There are different sub
groups under your target audience, so diversify your onsite content,
because some would prefer to read articles than view videos, others would
prefer viewing ebooks than reading articles, a few would prefer viewing
videos over slideshow presentations, while some would want to view
slideshow presentations than videos... The point is to establish your
reputation as a friendly, expert resource of beneficial content, products
and services for your specific target audience, then build mutually
beneficial relationships with your target audience and other businesses in
            your niches...

Advise for new to traffic generation: start with easy and fast traffic generation that will get you 10-20 new visitors and put good content. They will be happy to come back

When you have enough good content, you can start pushing more.

I agree with Benoit. If your content is good, then your visitors will want to come back.

A great way to get more traffic is get your site ranked on multiple keywords.

I don't know any automated ways on getting ranked higher on Google but manually making back links is what I Would do.
