newbie: where to start in the forum

Hi everyone,
I stumbled upon this forum when searching for Arbitrage conspiracy. More I looked around, this forum seems like a good place to be to learn about Internet Marketing. I see there are lot of experienced folks with great knowledge and insight.
I would appreciate if you could point me to a favorite post/thread of yours where I should start. I'm a Software Engineer by profession and would like to explore your side of the world It sure does look exciting.

I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area of the forum.

Thanks

At the cost of possibly offending the Warrior fans, here goes: Are they other Internet Marketing/Business related forums that are a must read and have high quality content that you would recommend.

Don't overwhelm yourself by trying to read all of the
online business forums. Find a place that suits you
and use the search feature to look up topics that
        interest you.

Take a day off and go through each section. You online business has 3 main components or it WILL fail. Think of them as your 3 pillars that hold you up, if one pillar fails... you go down.

So what are these 3 pillars?

      Traffic Copywriting Content

Lack of any one of these affects the other. Like lets say you have a sweet copy sales letter and your content is top-notch. But if you have no traffic coming to your site, you wont make $

Or lets say you have mad traffic and really good content... but your sales letter sucks... then your conversion rate is going to be insignificant.

So focus on developing these 3 aspects and success is pretty much guaranteed.

      Hope that helps.

    learnmore:

There are a couple of other forums out there, like digitalpoint that have quality information, BUT nothing IMO compares to the wealth of knowledge that is Warrior.
