INTERNET MARKETING

Warriors,

I've been pulling out my hair for the past week trying to get my new support desk working.
The problem? Email piping. The message pipes correctly to the ticket system but the sender always gets a bounce-back message.

If you know how to fix this type of thing, please PM me. Once solved, I'll deposit $50 in your PP account.

What's the bounceback message? Is it from the server or from your helpdesk? It sounds like the piping is working, but may be a server setting...

  I had this problem last week with OSTicket. If you are having this problem with OSTicket, go to their forum with the error message and you will find the solution quickly, that's how I fixed it.

Thanks guys... finally got this solved by finding a needle in the haystack in this post: http://www.evolt.org/article/Incomin..._PHP/18/27914/

Apparently, I needed to open up the script via SSH, delete the carriage return after the first line of code (CGI crap) and re-enter it via Unix. I can't believe that a simple carriage return caused me this much trouble... I DESPISE CGI!

Regardless, if anyone ever runs into a problem of this sort make sure to look through the above-mentioned forum thread.
