Need a new spark of hope.

After trying fiverr, freelancing sites , blogging and affiliate marketing, reading lots of books, purchased lot of reports, wrote a lot of articles, worked for others, learned some seo but still no path to follow ,
I am blanked out on what to do?? How to earn now??
Earned something from fiverr and working for others but now nothing.
Can you people ignite the spark in me or tell me some way to follow and work one.
It seems all paths are overcrowded and I can't succeed.

You should consider sticking to one model until you get it making money and then move on to other methods. Trying to do everything at once from the get go can overwhelm someone very easily. What works for one may not work for you. Find what does work for you and repeat, repeat and then repeat again. Then consider other options...

Act! Don't just read guides (which are written to generate money for the seller) or look for miracles.

If you're good at article writing, stick with it. Monetize your blogs, or freelance for others. If you can make time for both, then do so. Diversify.
I cant tell you not to buy any more stuff - I suffer from the 'shiny object syndrome' myself...

I'd suggest looking at it like a brick and mortar business "mindset."

Figure out where you want to start your business...what niche. Marketing, fitness, dog training, gardening, etc.

Then decide how you are going to help people in that area achieve their goals.

After that create something that solves the markets #1 problem and give it away in exchange for an email address.

Then start giving it away to as many people as you can. Build a relationship with those people and develop a real business. Get in it for the long term.

I wish I would have done that long ago, but I'm starting now so I can look back and not say the same thing =)

Your focus must be on long term though, it's the only way you will keep going when you're only growing by a couple subscribers per day.

      hope this helps,
      Tyson

Did you get any positive reviews?

You can use that to help get work in the future, and higher paying work to boot.

I collect testimonials about my PLR (which I write) and use them to help promote my writing service. People like to keep a good writer a secret, so you have to really push with the words of those that talk.

I also build a list. It isn't huge, but it is responsive. Doing it as a writer you could simply mention sales and specials... maybe some openings (this can be a bad thing too, be careful).

I first started out by offering a service, article writing. If your clients are happy with you they will come back and use you again and again. You can then ask them for testimonials and publish these on your website.

You have to stay on track and focus on one way to make money. Then once you have a steady income stream you can branch out to create your own products or delve into affiliate marketing.

So I would suggest creating a website and then start promoting it. Use the Warrior for Hire section and advertise your services there.

I know some writers who have offered a gig on Fiverr and gotten clients. Explain to them that this was an introductory price as you can then charge more for your services. Or charge $5 for 300 words so when clients want a 500 or 600 word article you can increase the price.

I have been doing this for a year now and am now getting bookings for a month in advance, so it is well worth the effort.

          Hope this helps.

I'm starting to think that people confuse IM with "making money online" when they don't have to be the same thing at all. If you want to stick with IM, I would suggest finding one niche and working on it until you see the results you want.

I don't get how anyone's making money off Fiverr, seems there's too much competition for too little pay.

      Hi Amit,

It's a shame you didn't do as I told you. If you'd had stuck with what I was teaching you, you'd have a nice little income now like the other lad who started at the same time as you did.

The difference was he was prepared to listen and do what I told him, he gave up the idea of this being a get rich quick thing, he didn't just go off and try to do things the way he thought they should be done. He listened to me. He took advantage of my 7 years experience and the fact that it cost him nothing to follow my advice.

He now makes on average (over the last month) £30 a day. Not much but for a young man in India, especially where he lives, he's very pleased.

It's a shame Amit. I had high hopes for you.

      Sadly, you had other ideas.

        Hey Richard,

If you care to drop some of that knowledge on me, I am all ears. Love learning new techniques and methods and I do take action. Maybe a little guidance would go a LONG way for me...

Very curious of what you were teaching... PM me if you have time and care to share with me. Thanks bud!

    Two issues from my perspective:

    1. On a personal level, you are trying too many things. Focus on one thing, do not spread yourself too thin. Avoid places like Fiverr--that's the last stop on the train to bankruptcy.

    2. On a global level, I've been around a long time, and the economy in the US in elsewhere is more of a concern to me than it has been in my life. We have been in a long period of recession, it seemed things were getting better, but now they are getting bad again. That's scary. Business is still good for some, but not for most people. Most of us deal with "small business" or wanna-be entrepreneurs, and many just don't have money to spend now.

What to do? Make money at a regular job, and do IM part-time. Focus on doing one thing well in IM. Keep your expectations low. Save your money.

If he's lost and overwhelmed then how would this help him? He needs to find a direction to go and stick to it. Repeating the same mistakes certainly will not do him any good.

        Hi Amit,
Pick ONE business model that you like and work it hard. Give it your all and give it some time. Don't stop early or change course constantly.

It's like the story of the seed. It's underground and because you can't see it, you assume it's not growing. Then suddenly it pops through the dirt and you now believe in it.

        Good luck.
