Do "Video sales Pages" of Clickbank products really work better for conversions??

Hey all,

Im trying to promote a weight loss/get abs product from Clickbank.

Do the ones that have a "Video presentation" actually do better than ones without?

Here are the 2 i am wanting to promote. Which one would do better do you think?

Xtreme Fat Loss Diet - Get Results First

or this one with a video sales page:

I'd be interested in knowing this too!

I like video sales letters, the only problem I've had when doing one is it's harder to test/edit it, since it's a "final copy" sort of thing. You have to re-make the presentation to test something small.

Written sales pages can be terrible. Videos can be terrible.

Some people like to watch videos, and some like to read.

It depends on the niche and the sales page or video.

Your question is along the lines of "how long is a piece of string."

Some do better and some do not.

Testing is the only way you will know if your way works best.

Did you check Make Money with ClickBank | ClickBank Affiliate Marketing | Click Bank Trends and Analytics That should give you an idea of how those two products are doing.

Video sales letter. I was just talking about this topic with someone in charge of launches for an IM guru today and he said they have gotten completely different results with different products.

For one, just a video did best. For another, video and sales copy did best. For a third, the video killed conversions.

So, as usual, the best way to know is testing.

In this case, I'd look to see what you can find out from cbtrends or a similar site.

There is so many variables you cannot answer one way or the other.

      I agree with Jill.

The only way to really know, as with most things in IM, is test.

I would say test two versions of a video page and a static page and see which one converts better that way.

In my experience a good video sales page has typically worked out better. For opt-in pages, though, it's been inconsistent. Sometimes a pure curiosity driven, very simple textual page works awesome for me. I'm sure I could hit the same nerve with the right video, but I haven't nailed it down yet.

I've got some neat tricks for creating sales videos much faster, easier, and for free. I've been wanting to release a WSO with that info for about a year now... but I haven't gotten around to it.

You need to split test and find out what works best for your particular page. You will hear arguments about whats better, vidoe sales page, or text? long or short? I've noticed that video sales pages work better for me but the key is to make a nice high quality video.
