How I made My First $156 Online...
I want to quickly share a simple system that I used to make
my first $156 in one day from my online business.
The most important thing that really helped me big time
was finding the right mentor.
Althought it took me a whole year to find a mentor
who I can trust and learn from it was well worth the time.
The first thing I learned from my mentor was having the right mindset.
The gentlemen who I learned from has a great understanding of the newbie
mind and what they need.
Here's the first thing he shared with me to set me on the right path.
1. Making money online will take time! There are no overnight riches.
Those who claim there is are just after your money and trying to sell you a dream...
Don't chase push button shinny objects! Be patient!
2. This business works ...but it will take work! And hard work at that!
If you are looking for big paychecks with little work you are chasing
rainbows and will lose lots of money.
3. It will take money! Not lots of money to start but small costs like a
domain name, hosting account, autoresponder account, and any training
you purchase. Those who say you don't need money again are trying to sell
you a product which is hypercritical to say the least.
So hopefully that helps you establish the mindset you will require to have
success in the online world.
Now below are the exact steps I took to make my first $156 in one day online!
1. Build A Squeeze Page To collect email addresses.
BE A COLLECTOR OF EMAILS!
You will first need to create a high value FREE product in your niche in
exchange for peoples email address. Wether it be a Free Report, Free Video
series, Free Audios etc.
Your squeeze page can be created with Kompozer or Wordpress.
2. Start Driving Traffic To Your Squeeze Page.
A few strategies I use to drive traffic are
- Blog Commenting: Simply sign up for RSS feeds to authority blogs in your
niche and as soon as new content is posted be sure to be one of this first
to submit a comment that adds value to the post.
- Video Marketing: Create Videos teaching people how to do something or a
commercial about your business and submit to all the video sharing sites like
YouTube, Vimeo etc.
- Facebook: I get quite a bit of traffic from facebook simply by adding new
friends by searching for keywords in my niche using the facebook search bar.
I add them as a friend and engage in a conversation with them before ever
talking business. I also use my fanpage to get quite a bit of sign ups. Of course
by setting up a custom squeeze page as my default landing page.
- Forums: Sign up for forums in your chosen niche and join in on the discussions
that are going on. If you have something of value to add to a thread do so. Ask
questions, answer questions, build relationships.
- Guest Blogging: Google search for authority blogs in your niche and ask to write
a unique article for that blog. A lot of blogs will have a section on their homepage
that says "Write For Us" or "Become a guest Writer" or something along those lines.
It is important you include a link back to your site if they don't provide one already.
3. Build A relationship with your email list and position yourself as an
expert and person who can be trusted. This is where many will blow it! Provide
value and additional tips and tricks to help your subscribers BEFORE you ever try
to sell anything!
This can make or break your business! If you come off as a spammer not only
will you not make any sales but you will get A LOT of people to unsubscribe
from your list.
Building an email list and developing that relationship is the most powerful
thing you can do for your online business.
This is all I do day in and day out. I collect emails build a relationship with my
list and make money. Now it's important to me that I only promote products
I use and products that will help my subscribers as they have helped me.
