Is anyone doing geo-arbitrage?

Silly question, because the answer is yes, but I'm particularly interested in those marketing to Europe and getting paid in Euros/Pounds. Looking for resources to that end and downsides (taxes I'd guess?). Info on this seems to be kind of scant unless you're looking to outsource workers.

Maybe the rewards aren't that great going the other way? Is it legal? Thoughts?

Maybe I'm not the best example. I'm not doing it for the money either, because I'm here "for love". I am Dutch and I work from Spain, which works out cheaper because of the 20% tax rate for freelancers and the slightly lower cost of living.

I am an SEO copywriter exclusively for clients in the Netherlands and I get paid to my Dutch bank account. I then either withdraw the money straight from my Dutch bank account or transfer it to my Spanish account. So making my money in one place and spending it in another.

Next year I plan to go to work from Asia, which should definitely make some positive changes on my balance sheet.

    André

That's another interesting thing to think about actually, thanks.

Appreciate the response. Can I ask if you find the move affected your ability to get clients? I would guess no, though.

Very nice idea. I like that. Buy cheap traffic and filter them based on geo-location. Send to differing offers. I like it.
