Best place to have articles written and submitted?

Warriors, can you recommend a good writing company or group of writers online who can write good quality articles and also submit them to all kinds of article directories? I'm looking to beef up solid backlinks to a site. It would be great if they even did social bookmarking on them as well.

Any suggestions? 99centarticles.com any good?

Hi Dayne, it's not necessarily such a good idea to have writers submit to directories for you. There are potential downsides. Worth at the very least thinking it through pretty carefully, anyway, taking a long-term view.

Do you really want to give workers you're outsourcing access to your accounts and passwords with article directories? Or do you really want them submitting under their accounts and then perhaps no longer being able to access the articles yourself (e.g. to change the resource-boxes/links, if that ever becomes necessary, as it so easily can for reasons entirely outside your own control)?

Also, you might want to bear in mind that all article directory backlinks (unless you find one specific to your own niche) are non-context-relevant, PR-0 backlinks, and that in anything even approaching a competitive niche, you'll typically need a 6-figure number of them (yes, really) for the off-page SEO to be of any noticeable benefit to the site linked to in the resource-box.

Professional, experienced article marketers are typically submitting to very few article directories, and not really using them for backlinks at all. Especially after Google's recent algorithm change (although it was pretty futile even before that, to be honest).

You should certainly be avoiding article directories, then. As backlinks go, they're just about the lowest of the low. (And I'm saying that as a full-time article marketer, myself). "Article directories" and "good off-page SEO" are more or less mutually exclusive concepts.

That has been on of my primary reasons to avoid outsourcing in certain areas, especially to the extent that I'd like. I have done some outsourcing, but there are areas where I simply don't want to give up control, or open things up to outsiders that would then be given the "keys to the kingdom" .

Another reason to submit for syndication, not the one time backlink. Also, another reason to submit to specific e-zine owners, instead of just blindly submit anywhere. It's a great idea to have a defined strategy about where and why you're going to post your articles.

What about Hubpages and Squidoo backlinks? Press releases? Videos?

I guess what I'm looking for is the best way to boost rankings for certain keywords on my site.
