Whats Your Daily UV amount?

currently I move over 12K UV a day across all my sites (Total) so close to 400K UVs a month. How is everyone else doing?

    I think UV does not mean much. The important thing is the conversion and revenues. You can have real high traffic which is not converting and you can have very low traffic which is converting very good.

      now your talking traffic sources like crappy spam traffic from social networking sites vs clean organic traffic from search engines.

      Im talking clean organic traffic.

      Your amount is a good volume of traffic, I hope you are monetizing your sites well.

      There was a thread about monetizing methods, you should read that, I think your volume is great.

          Well it depends what you're selling and the price.

          A 0.4% conversion rate might not be bad if you're selling $500 products.

          But if you're selling $50 e-books and getting only a 0.4% conversion rate on organic traffic, then it's highly likely there's plenty of room for improvement.

                12K a day is what goes to my websites not the product landing page. visitors still have to click through to that.

                I do like 3-4 sales a day so $45-60 range.

                  Something is seriously wrong if you're only getting 3-4 sales a day from 12,000 unique visitors.

                  Even if they've got to click through to get to your product landing page.

                  Even if you're selling in a niche where people don't usually buy.

          The higher the items you sell are the more you will make, obviously lol.

          Try to go for higher end items in your sales funnel.

    UV has nothing to do with it bloke.

    I mean yes we all need traffic. However...traffic means nothing if it is coming from freebie seekers or stumblers...(people that just stumble across the site)

    You are better off with 1000 people visiting your site that are highly targeted than people just coming willy nilly and sort of stumbling past for a look. The higher quality and targeted your traffic is the better the results.

    Allen, if your traffic is so high yet your sales are so low (0.03% conversion rate), perhaps you should approach it slightly differently. Try and get as many of those 12,000 p/day into a mailing list/sales funnel and then present them with your offer converting at 0.4%.

    You can still put your landing page infront of the people who were going to buy anyway but you can also find other offers for the other visitors that aren't even getting to your landing page.

    Your problem isn't so much the landing page but rather getting eyes to your landing page.

    I get about 4-5k a day... I use adsense so no conversion % but my general CTR is anywhere from 4-7%.

    I have some sites that get nearly 500uv's / day yet the conversions are fairly low 1-2% . Where as some sites get less then 100uv's and have 4%+ conversion ratio's.

    For me, it's all about conversions first, then a site that has high conversions, I know it's a winner so I amp up the traffic.

    So to answer your original question, I don't get a lot of UV, because currently, I'm living in Cleveland, OH and the sun is rarely out :'(
