Best Free Guide On How To Create High Quality eBooks

Hi,

I am looking to create my first ebook guide very soon, and despite knowing the basics of how to create a PDF, how to interlink pages, have a header and footer, etc, I would really love to find a guide that shows how to make a really high quality PDF ebook, like with the nice fancy graphical header/footers, etc

Can anyone please point me in the right direction regarding this?

    You can make a great looking pdf ebook just by using Microsoft Word, create the ebook in the a Word document, then use this plug-in:

    Download details: 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF

    Unless you version Word already can create pdfs, and convert it in to a pdf file.

    That is what I do, and you can do a TON of different things.

    Also, you will be wanting a ebook cover, so here is a good free place to create your own ebook cover:

    ecover design - design it yourself online

    the only problem here is that I am using the free alternative to word - Open Office.

    Is there any other possibilities that anyone knows of for someone using writer?
