You can do that with your browser. Just go File->Save Page ...and then throw it in Dreamweaver and make sure the images correspond to the right path.

Hmmm, I don't recall a specific "steal others content" tool in DW, but perhaps I missed it.

Am, I the only one that thinks this is just wrong?

You're violating the copyright, stated or implied for this site. Period. I wouldn't do it.

Plus morally, how can you do this? Bad Karma.

It depends. He may not necessarily be using it to steal other peoples stuff, could be his own for all we know.

  • Just save the page, to your desktop and open it in Dreamweaver. View source doesn't always work as well, because it doesn't include all the images, server side code, etc.

And FYI - I do this all the time when working on client websites. Save their site to my hard drive, so I can edit it and send them back. I've been doing it for years, and it's completely ethical because these people KNOW I'm doing it.

Don't jump to conclusions, it doesn't make things any better or any easier on anyone.

    Happy Sales!

In open type the address i.e

    http://google.com/index.html

You need a filename after the domain name or the design won't work - i.e index.php or index.html

    Rob.
