What Does It Take To Get A Header Around Here?

So I need a professional header, like ASAP, and yesterday
one warrior who had posted on an old thread of mine says he'll
do it and I can have it back within the hour.

It was terrible.

A second warrior (who has a decent looking portfolio), offered to
creat my header and could get it done in 24 hours, with a rough
draft in a few hours.

This was yesterday - still have not heard from him.

So My Friends...

What does it take to get someone that can actually provide
a nice quality header in a short turn-around, and without making
me sit here twiddling my thumbs?

    Yes, you must be more clear with your request.

    Does your header pertain to a sales letter? If so, the person helping you would need to thoroughly read the sales letter, in detail, before they can create an attention grabbing headline that gets results.

    Did you offer to pay the guy or girl?

    If all of these things are evident then I don't see why it's taking too long either. When was the last time you followed up?

      Trust me, everything was clear on the first guy, his work was just god-awful,
      and nothing like his supposed "portfolio". The second guy still has not gotten
      back to me, so a refund has been requested.

      My only issue is the turn-around.

      If someone says a job will be ready in a certain amount of time, why does it
      seem like practically all of these people cannot seem to keep this promise.

      This is not one instance, this is very common it seems.

      Oh well, I'm not losing sleep on this, but I DO need work done WHEN I need it
      done, so I trust someone when they claim they can do it.
