HELP...........AGAIN!!!

Does any kind warriors out there know how a plugin that actually works or a avi player for wordpress? trying to upload my avi video but having no luck even with some of the recommended plugins. I've converted to FLV but lose quality so ideally wana keep it AVI..........any help is greatly appreciated.

    What's the size of your video in AVI?

    I betchya it's HUGE?
    And a huge video file will take AGES to load ... and if it
    takes too long my guess is that your viewers will leave.

    I recommend uploading it to youtube. Once it's ready,
    Goto >> MyVideos >> Insight >> Download MP4.

    Either use youtube in HD as a player or use the MP4 on your server ...

    Then search for a video plugin (in WP Admin) that will play
    your MP4 ... (there's TONS of them) ... and you'll see great quality ...

    with a small video size.

    Im sure someone else will post a great plugin,
    coz I create my own custom video players ...

    but that's how I 'optimize' most of my videos coz it's quick.

    yeah its like 500MB, but its hosted through S3 Amazon, dunno if that makes a difference?!problem with Youtube that it will break the video up into 15min slots, the whole point is having the video as a whole 1 hr video.

    or does Youtube offer 1hr uploads now?

      Try this. put the full address of your avi video in twice where indicated.

        thanks.....i tried it, i got the player up and put the url in, its not playing plus this pops up above the player?

    hey john,

    thanks for that, cant PM you as dont have 50 posts.

    only problem now is it wont load, seems some people having the same problem, any ideas?

    Any warrior out there know why my video wont load? its host on S3 Amazon as i said.....
