I am about to release a simple 5-8 page website that promotes 4 ClickBank products and gives some good information. I'm going to be building a few links and such.

My question is (feel free to heckle me)...

Don't get me wrong, I want to further expand it one day, but would this be a big enough website to get in google and make a small profit?
(Talking 100-300 dollars after a few months to age and get links counted)

Also, I'm thinking I posted this in the right place, but not sure. If not, please tell me and I can just put it where it needs to be or it can be deleted.

Is it a big enough website to make money? Yes, people make money with a single page website, or no website for that matter.

That being said, there is no way to give you an answer without knowing the keywords/niche/competition etc.

Those 4 pages you have could be targeting "how to make money" or "how to lose weight", ultra-competitive keywords and niches... or they could be targeting "how to build an inflatable kayak with your bare hands", an obscure niche with low competition. Without those details, no one could tell you. And even then, it's not a guarantee, but definitely a much more educated response.

The amount of pages is irrelevant. At the end of the day, it's up to you the amount of pages required to wrap it all up. The fewer the pages, the better, and avoid cross selling between different unrelated products. I suggest you create an ad copy for each individual product within their respective niches. Would this be some kind of directory for CB products? Explain further...

My niche is relatively unsaturated. It's not health, law, or making money.

There are 3 clickbank products all in the same niche, same topic, but slightly different teachings. I want to be able to give people a second or even third option.

I was thinking of putting all the products on one page with a short bit of their review underneath each one and a link to the full review as well as an affiliate link to the product's salespage.

The other few pages on the website will give information on the topic. I am now also thinking of putting in an opt in type thing on the side offering a free ebook on it (Some plr content I bought a while back)

As long as you've got a significant amount of unique content, and you aren't disallowing google from crawling your site or something silly like that, then google will index your page(s).

I disagree with alcymart's statment about the number of pages being "irrelevant", but it's true in the strict sense of whether or not it's possible to make money with your site.

How do you plan to drive traffic? I don't know your niche, but it's highly unlikely that you will make a substantial amount of sales by relying on search engine traffic without doing external SEO.

It all depends on the content you have on those few pages. You have to ensure you provide quality content for your visitors and then presell the offer you are promoting.

Is it enough to rank in the search engines? Yes it could be but make sure your website has the important pages such as privacy policy, contact, disclosure, sitemap etc.

That being said, you need to get to work! Then you will see what happens and make adjustments along the way since nothing ever happen the way it is in theory for IM.

I always forget the privacy policy page. >.<

But I would be doing some linking and such. I might do a small bit of article marketing just for the diversity in a few extra links.

Thank you all very much for suggestions, facts, and opinions.
