Help, I need to convert a swf format file to avi format file?

Hi fellow Warriors,

Please can any of you recommend a good software product
that allows one to convert a video in swf format to avi format?

I've doing a google search but really would like to know what
any of you fellow warriors persoanlly use and/or recommend
as a good one?

I have been using Total Video Converter 3.14 for over a year
with great results. The program is easy to use plus will take
care of all you video/audio converting. Program is well worth
the 40 dollars. Link below is not a affiliate link.

The only converter I use is SUPER

You can do it in Camtasia actually but it takes some contortion.

Just FYI...

Camtasia cannot do this...

SWF is not a supported file for importing...thus you can't export it to AVI...

SWF file are a bit difficult to convert to other format, it's advisable to record it using avi, and you can convert to most video format.

Rob! Camtsia doesn't convert SWF into any format... Please ensure what you are saying is true... for some one could end up spending 300 dollars and not even get what they want thanks to your advice. You can't import SWF's inm Camtasia... i tried a lot and I know that doesn't work...

I used some online video converters but found the end result lacking... I went to download.com and tried two free ones and they both worked great...

AnyVideoConverter and Format Factory. My preference being AnyVideo...

When people refer to Camtasia, most likely they mean recording the playback as it happens on screen. Personally, I think that is a bad idea. A 20 minutes video will take 20 minutes just to capture...
