I have some questions and I am hoping to get help with them.
- I want to edit an article of mine that has been ranked high on google for some time do you think if I edit the article to change the website from squidoo to my website the article would lose its rankings.

- what is the easiest way to build backlinks to your articles to make them rank higher in the search engines

- has any one had any success using article marketing to promote cpa offers.

1. I have done this before and it didn't affect the article's rankings. Note that I kept the link title intact, just changed the URL.

2.the easiest way to help your EZA articles reach the top spots would be to submit your articles to other directories, like goarticles or articledashboard and post EZA links in the resource box with the main keyword as link title.

3.Never promoted CPA offers through article marketing but note that most article directories don't allow affiliate links in resource boxes so for this method to work you must create your own landing page.

I've never went in and edited one of my articles, but I have seen posts in this very forum talking about not only losing their Google ranking, but losing their article on EZA all together.

They submit their article with changes and the article is rejected for some reason that they didn't catch the first time around, or maybe the editor who looks at it fought with his girlfriend that morning and is pissed off....

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I edited some of my articles that placed in first page of Google, I edited the links, and the rank is not affected, its still there. The other article edited few times and don't effect the ranks.

Sorry, me just PPS. However, if you skim some IM forum I believe that there are bunch of marketers of make decent income with articles and CPA.
