I don't know for sure, but if I was to guess, part of it would be that your member pages are really busy. And they are busy with stuff that is not about your members companies. Your site as a whole is really busy and when I look at it, I have absolutely no idea what is important or what to do with all the information that is presented on each page.

The video tells about features and kind of touches on benefits, but not very much. I watched it a couple of times and it is very professional but I have no idea why I would purchase a membership to a site that gets hits from really generic keywords.

They are not looking for my company on your website. I suspect you do not rank highly for things like eco tourism or windmill powered hosting companies. You might, but I have not checked.

But that might just be my direct marketing background talking. Your site looks professional but it also kind of looks like one of those directory sites that local TV stations use to sell ad space to local businesses. They give it as a benefit of buying a media package from their ad department.

Nothing really stand out about the listing pages except that your own links are all over it. If you are collecting money for memberships, maybe it would be OK to have nothing on the member pages except information about the member company.

You should post this in the copywriting section. You'll get lots of good advice over there.

There doesn't seem to be a flow...or a direction for the visitor maybe? There is a lot of information, and it's difficult to know where to start, or what it is.

It's a decent landing page, but due to the length and the subject matter, I would add a floating DHTML signup button that follows the user down the page. This could be a floating header bar or a button or something similar.

It's not converting because it's a mass of text with no roadsigns for the reader. I looked at it and decided it was too hard to figure out what it was and budda bing, budda boom, fuggetaboutit! I'm outta heeer.

Really, get a headline up top that at least tells the visitor what the heck the purpose of the page is so they don't have to click all over the place to find out. Then follow that with an explanation of why they need whatever it is you have. If you don't make it easy for your visitor, say bye, bye. Good luck.

EDIT: I commented on your home page in your sig not the one in your message. So it goes. But everything I said still applies. Not interested in copy/paste to look at the other page. Good luck.
