Hi all, if you or someone you know, set up a video membership site, how would it be best to go about bandwidth and hosting. What is the cheapest way to do it, what is the best way, any ideas? Mary Im thinking a lot of videos here, not youtube style, more like 100 members with 100 5 minute videos, so relatively small I guess. |

The absolute best way is to use Amazon Simple Storage Service - Amazon S3 It is used by many start up companies as well as massive membership sites like Stompernet. You're paying a few cents per gigabyte and a few more cents per traffic and requests. All in all my monthly bill doens't go over $10 ![]() There is a thread in WarRoom explaining how to set up S3 for your membership site in detail, but I'm sure you will be able to find some great tutorials on youtube too.
