besides selling affiliate products, adsense and ads, what other revenue model can you create with niche blogs

Well aside from those that you mentioned, I'd say converting it into a membership site if the niche you're targeting allows for it.

Also, you said "Adsense and ads" - not clear if you meant only programs like Adsense, Chikita, InfoLinks, etc.

If yes, you can always just sell "ad space." Depending on the amount of visitors you're getting and how tightly focused the niche is, you could get monthly recurring income from this.

You can always sell the blogs for high profits at the end.

In addition to the good tips mentioned by the posters above me, don't forget that you can promote/sell your OWN products - be they information products (extensive how-to guides, things like that) or other relevant products to your niche.

If it's a niche you're presenting yourself as an authority in, you can create your own product/ebook and sell it from the site.

I think everyone here covered the gammit of what you can do. However the main question for me is what does your niche want and how do they want it?

I use PPC to drive traffic to a survey to find that out, after doing my audience-focused keyword research. This is highly effective and saves you a huge amount of time and cost in trying to figure it out, namely by making products or promoting affiliate offers that don't convert.

I've gotten into a few niches where the numbers looked very good but the reality was that people didn't care enough to spend money, and the organic results were delivering people everything they needed.

So before you start digging in, find out what the people in your market want, and then just deliver it.

A cool idea that I'm working on right now is getting a niche blog ranking #1 or #2 in Google for a very commercial keyword...

... after achieving top organic rankings, I'm going to contact the many large companies that my research shows are paying as much as $800+ per day for Adwords...

I'll then charge them a recurring monthly rate to gain exclusive marketing rights to that niche blog, where I'll place their number/email/etc on the front page.

I'm doing this as a case study for my new course, and am very excited about the potential.

Of course, the key is to find a keyword that has a proven high commercial value AND that won't take months to rank highly for (which is sometimes a difficult task).

Hope that gave you some ideas...

      Good luck...

Most of my niche blogs make around $500/month in affiliate commissions. That's my typical goal per niche blog. Of course, you can make a lot more, or a lot less.

I am willing to do today what other's aren't, so I can live tomorrow, how other's can't.

    Are you?
