I sponsored an event in my local area just a few days ago and I honestly had some pretty big expectations for the turnout, after blasting my email list and posting invites all over social networking sites along with some good old word of mouth, the event had a zero turnout.

As much as I was disappointed we did get a recording to use in further marketing. With out actually going through the motions of presenting our opportunity I personally would not have been able to move forward.

So now we have reserved a conference room for another event and maybe this time approach it with out such high expectation.

Another tactic I am using is newspaper ads i help wanted section. unemployment is at an all time high now and i believe that the workplace is evolving and seems to be more accepting to mlm positions! We shall see.
