Has anyone experience with "promote/tweet" type of gigs on Fiverr?

I was looking at Fiverr and noticed a lot of gigs from people offering their services to promote your product/website to their huge amount of Twitter followers/Facebook friends.

The weirdest thing is that 90% of reviews are positive yet a few aren't. Some stating they have only received a handful of clicks out of thousands (usually +50k) followers.

I don't know, should I even bother with these gigs? What would you do?

I tried once, and it very quickly became obvious that the vast majority of the accounts that they used were fake - made up so that they could give you hundreds of fake followers.

    I've never tried them.

Even if they're legitimate, the traffic is too untargeted for my liking.

I have tried it with some guy offering to post my tweet on his list with over 130 k followers like 2 times a day for 5 days and you know what happend: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING... the dude had many positive reviews but not even one person opt-in to my squeeze page!
Maybe my squeeze page sucked, don´t know really, but i had only a couple of views and nothing more!

But I only tested one guy, so occasionally others might be better...

    Hope that helped you

I also had some negative experiences with those sorts of services.

I've ordered several for a site of mine, but none send any kind of traffic my way. One of them even promoted my link on a facebook page with over 2 million followers...lol

You probably don't need another vote, but I have had terrible orders also. I paid a Fiverr for a Tweet to 25K and didn't get a single click, and it was for something FREE.

There are much better ways to get traffic as I'm sure you know...

And if you'll tolerate a re-arrangement of your word-order, there are also "ways to get much better traffic".

    Are you?
