Hi..... I have a list of 250 real estate agents. I got them the correct way (double opt into my Getresponse account), but I rarely send messages to them (my last message was probably about 3 months ago). There is some automated contact when someone subscribes. I have a 5 part ecourse followed by about 3-4 follow up messages. But that's about it. My question is: what's the best way to monetize this list in this current economy (the real estate and mortgage sectors have been hit hard)? Thanks for your input. KateD |

Do a joint venture with one of the warriors who does offline consulting. I am sure some of the realtors would like to be on the first page of google for their local area and some might need new websites thats more optimized for marketing etc. You can send the email out to your list and get a percentage of all the sales made from that list or something like that. You could rephrase your question from "how do I make money from this list of real estate agents?" to "how do I help these real estate agents make money?", then charge for your services and products. You're marketing to other business people (rather than consumers), so as a business person yourself, you've got some insight into what they need. Like you, they need leads in order to make money. Like you, they need a way to stay in touch with their leads and maintain their "expert" status. Real estate agents usually specialize geographically, and their businesses benefit from their involvement in community events (and the PR that results from the involvement). So how can you help your list become more visible in their markets? Those are just a couple of ideas to start with. Bottom line, since you're marketing to buisness people, you need to know something about how their business works. That knowlege will show you how you can help them. You can observe, and you can also just come out and ask them what they need right now. Then create (or become an affiliate for) that product or service. Where are the agents from? Are they local to you or from all across the country? What got them to join your list? Have you done a survey of the list to see what their biggest struggles are in their business? I can think of a handful of entry level products...
Then you could develop a more extensive Agent training home study course. Then you can offer high dollar consulting and/or outsourcing option where you either help them implement what you teach, or just do it for them for an even higher fee. |

1. Plan out a way to keep them warm - start a weekly newsletter with info they need - cover the market/rates/tips. 2. Send them a survey to get a feel for what they need at this moment in time. 3. Using number 2 work out a series of products to sell - think jv's and own products. 4. Work on building the list to 2,500. 5. Work on building the list to 25,000 and up. Rob. |
