What to do if I have a good software idea?

Hey Warriors!

So I had a REALLY good idea here the other day regarding a software I want to make. The thing is I don't have any programming skills whatsoever. What do I do?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Well before you do anything, and this is only if you are planning on selling the software. You better make sure you have a market to sell it to. So go find out if the market is wanting the software.

Do polls, surveys, ppc ads stuff like that. You don't want to spend all the time and money creating the software that nobody wants.

Find the market first, then ask them what do they want.

First, make sure there is a market for the software!

Secondly, I would write out a clear and precise flow chart. This will make it much easier for any developer to understand your wants and needs. Then I would start to look for a developer using a sites such as elance, odesk, etc

After you post the job, I would then send a request for proposal to the top 3 people. Ask them to make a demo of what you want.

Go over the propsal when they send it back, here you can engage in a questions and answer phase.

Next, you can reply to your top two choices.. and tell them both "I have narroed the selection down to two vendors, you're my second choice" Ask them to resubmit their best and final offer.

Then from here you go with the BEST FIT, not necessarily the best price.

    Good luck!

I am willing to do today what other's aren't, so I can live tomorrow, how other's can't.

    Are you?

Well, you can outsource it at any freelancer site!
I would advice you Odesk, as it has largest amount of freelancers, also does not require any in from payments, al lets say w.w.w.freelancer .c.o.m does.

    Thanks you!
