Hi there,

I am putting an optin box on a page and need to change some code but am unsure what they mean.

1st question is- On this line
<input type="hidden" name="redirect" value="what URL goes here">
Once the person has entered their info is this the page URL they would be directed to? Like say a thank you page or download page?

2nd question
<input type="hidden" name="meta_redirect_onlist" value="what URL goes here">
What is this line for? Do I put the same URL as the above questions?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
Regards,

    Hi Wealthy!

    Yes the first url directs your prospect to this page after they opt-in - for example your own pre-made html page. If you don't have this, then your prospect will be taken to a default page, depending on your autoresponder.

    The second url would be used if the person had already signed up using the same details. They could be redirected to a page which said "Thanks but you're already on our list but here's . . . . ." In most cases this is an optional one.

    Hope that helps.

    First one is thankyou for subscribing URL

    the second one is usually blank, this goes for those that are already subscribed, so it will use the autoresponder default, or insert your own if the script is self hosted

    Peace
