After many freebies...

After 2years of dreaming, not taking action in the right way, disorganization, I've finally invested in what will hopefully be my success. I've come to realize that to make a positive contribution to my 'wealth' I've invested in some plugins and theme. Following , or being inspired by, Andrew Lock, I've now produced 4 episodes of my web based tv show. Outsourcing title sequences where needed, FB fanpage, social commenting etc, I feel I'm on my way.
In reading, digesting and taking small steps, I've come to realize that there is no push button, no magic bullet, and only tenacity, putting the hours in, will work . Also, surely for money to be made online, someone, somewhere, has to buy or trial something, for $$$ to be made.

I enjoy reading and participating here, and have learned a great deal so far. Thanks

    Yep..Once you realize that Work makes it happen, you can create something that greatly contributes to the IM world.

    Many people fall for the "Push Button Software" scam and fail to realize that it takes work to make money. Once you put in the work, it can pay off greatly.

    At some point in time all successful internet marketers had the 'ah-ha' moment realizing they need to focus and get ONE system and stick it out...

    Sounds like you are on your way now and I'm glad your taking action!

    The best advice anyone will ever get in IM is to pick something and stick to it.... find a model and work it until it works or you've proven beyond all doubt that it does not work...

    This forum is full of free and paid systems, the key is being disciplined enough to stop buying/trying new stuff and focus on one thing! Once you do one system straight for a month you will know if it will work or not...

    Nice job!

    The biggest breakthrough I had was similar to yours, in that we have to realize that the money has to come from SOMEWHERE, i.e. customers. In exchange for that money, we need to provide VALUE.

    Otherwise, we're just chasing the financial equivalent of a perpetual motion machine.

    Thanks for all your positive feedback. It's gratifying to hear and all the comments so far echo my thoughts as to what makes it all work. Not saying it's easy, but it surely isn't brain surgery or quantum mechanics.
    I've still a few things to ratify. It's a funny thing though, I bought a quality vid camera several years ago (canon XHA1) knowing it was more functionality than I required, but now it's come into it's own. Oh and my wife bought me the 27" apple iMac ( all bells &. whistles).
    I gave a great ( I think) analogy,as a street performer I start off with no audience, and in having a few people stop to watch I generate a larger crowd. After turning them into an audience( lots of crowd dynamics & scripted psychology)I talk about the $ for the hat. Then hit them with the finale. Then collect. Pushing forward with IM for me, is a bit like that.
