Turning ebook into an audio file-advice wanted

Hi Folks,
A quick bit of advice pls,
Setting up PLR website and want to add audio files as well as written copy.
Can I take a free/plr ebook/report etc and record them as an audio file and then sell them, is there any copyright problems with this.

    As long as you have the rights to the material (PLR or otherwise) you shouldn't have much trouble repurposing the content. It all depends on what terms and conditions are attached to the material.

    If it's somebody elses' copyright, you would need to get their permission first.

    I'm not a lawyer, so this is just my two-pence worth!

    You should probably send them an email or read privacy right on those free ebook or report. I think there is a huge copyright and trademark problems with this since your trying to sell them. But yeah not a lawyer either so be careful with this .

      You will want to make sure that if you are using a PLR book that you have rights to resell this as PLR, many providers do not allow this so be sure to check first.

      It would be much better to create your own content and then record this as a bonus.

        Thanks so much for the advice..just finished my first PLR pack, and will now record it in my soft Scottish accent and use the audio as a bonus.

          Jim, I'd scrutinize what rights come with the original PLR ebook/report, and make sure that your plan to resell the audio is in compliance with that.
