Is Gmail down for anyone else.

I thought I would play with Blogger, but need
access to Gmail.
Maybe Chrome is the issue ?
I'm using IE 7.

Check for me will ya' ?

Thanks,

Chuck

Gmail's been a pain in the rump for a couple days, now. Periodically not working at all. I've had to log out and log back in quite a few times to get it to work correctly. My husband has been having the same problems with it.

Fine for me currently, I'm in Sydney AU

Gmail does have problems occasionally; it usually comes up very quickly.

    Try (in no particular order):

    * Changing browsers (sometimes works) -- or clear your browser's cache (I'm on a Mac, and use Safari and Firefox -- Firefox has fewer problems than Safari)

    * Restart the computer

    * Reload Gmail in simple form without HTML

Dang thing is still down for me with IE.
I've jumped through the hoops, restart,
kill history, cookies, stand on one leg and
    scream like a chicken!!

    Irritates the heck outta me.

    My rant,

I use it through Outlook, and yesterday it kept popping up and
asking for my password periodically but it seems to have resolved
      itself today.

I was having problems with all google offerings, including search, at the beginning of last week. My buddy Ryan Healy was having problems at the same time. For me, the problems seemed to be fixed. Wonder if the problems will bounce around from location to location...

It has been working just fine for me... in KY. Did you try Firefox yet? Sometimes IE7 can act a little quirky.

My gmail is working but this past month gmail has been rather slow to load or doing weird things.. I have a number of accounts and it's been the same with all of them... now and then I'll get error messages but they're quickly resolved... might be due to all the new stuff they're adding... themes etc.

    I use FF2 and XP...

  • Mine's fine right now, but quite a few times recently it's stalled loading and I have to use the 'older version' option to get in.

All fine with me on IE7 (11pm UK time)

The only issue I have with it - seemingly all the time is that it redirects and then when it opens, it self-refreshes. Occasionally I have to do a browser refresh to get it to load, too. I'm no techie, so I live with it.

Mine kept doing that too and I use FF2... way I stopped it was to go into "Settings" and then tell it to login using the "https" secure server... by default it's on the "http" server... stopped after that.

Gmail? IE7, IE8 and Firefox all working just fine. Mail announcer a bit dodgy, though - not always available. Not bad for Spain?

Gmail has been indeed playing up for the last couple of days...especially after they introduced themes, the once reliable Gmail is turning into a nightmare!
It reloads, gets stuck and does what not even if my internet speed is good...
Maybe its the labs features that are causing such a problem.
I would advocate using the plain gmail without themes or any of the lab tweaks and if possible without the chat ( standard without chat).
If that doesnt work too, I will have to switch to basic HTML. I have a lot of stuff on my gmail....cant afford to turn it off
