Auto-Blogging Comments Good or Bad Idea?

Should you use an Auto-Blog Comment software?

I get a zillion spam a day on some of my blogs from what is OBVIOUSLY Auto Blog Automated Comments. But some are done rather cleverly and seem almost genuine till you notice the keyphrase in the signature.

So whats the consensus here, is it a good idea or no?

    Whether its a good idea or not probably depends on who you want to be online. A spammer like the folks that hit your blog or somebody else.

    I write comments on other people's blogs and trash spam comments on my own. But I suspect that other people have other opinions.

    Well JMichaelZ in the last several years I refrained from using black hat seo methods like that, but I always wondered about peoples opinions of such things.

      I would think there are probably a number of people who use auto commenting systems and like them. Those folks might think they are a good idea. They might even have some recommendations.

      I think, that you can probably get people to write comments for you as an outsourcing task. I am not 100 percent sure of that and it might not be cost effective.
