Experienced Warrior question: site statistics
I basically look at three statistics:
Number of unique visitors per month
Number of total visits per month
Average number of page views per visit
Does any EW (Experienced Warrior) translate this into meaningful action on our part?
For example, a lot of unique visitors would make the site a good candidate for banner ads.
Maybe a lot of repeat visitors make it a good bet for affiliate marketing ads or email sign-up lists. But I'm just guessing.
I'm trying to figure out what the data "suggests" to you in terms of the optimal way to monetize the site.
Lately I've been getting a crazy-high amount of page views per visitors on a site I set up. It's like 15 page views per visitor. The site isn't that big, and it's almost like every visitor to the site is checking out every single page. Or there is some obsessed person who goes through the entire site 10 times each day and skews the average data. It's for the "viewed" traffic as opposed to the robot traffic. So I think it's real people.
I'm not quite sure what "a lot of page views per each visitor to the site" means in terms of how the site should be monetized. The site doesn't get a lot of visitors. But the ones that visit seem to be *reaaaaaaalllly* interested in it.
