Has Anybody Read "The Irresitible Offer" by Mark Joyner?

Hello,

I am wondering how good this book is as I am trying to "Spice Things Up" on my website and was told that "The Irresistible Offer" by Mark Joyner is a very good book with a lot of high quality information. I would like to get some reviews about the book from other warriors before I decide to download it.

    Anything by Mark Joyner is good. TIO is a great book.

    Nothing too impressive in my opinion.

    It doesn't really offer anything that the great copywriting classics don't.

      Reluctantly, I agree - copywriters are not very good at writing books. All the classics could have been edited down to less than half their original size. This and all the others, though, are essential reading, but few of them require or merit intense study after you've read a few of them.

      Check your local public library.

    I got the audio version of it, and for some reason I haven't listened to it. Maybe I should. I do know that any thing from Mark Joyner is typically pretty good.

    I've got it and read it. It's ok, but nothing special. It's not a bad book at all - you'll get some ideas from it. There's plenty of other marketing books out there that provide the same information.

      Thank you all for your opinions, that really helps out a lot. I read the book last night and may read it again. I have read books from Dr. Kevin Nunley, Joe Vitale, The late Cory Rudl (may he rest in peace), and Allen Says. I like them all and have a lot of ideas to implement into a new product or service. Thank you once again.

    I think I was one of the first pre-publication reviewers of TIO, and Mark had a blurb of mine on the back-cover of the print edition - which went on to become an Amazon.com best-seller. It's a simple and powerful guide to crafting a compelling offer. Not sure if it's what you'll see as letting you "spice things up on your website" - but it'll spruce up your sales, that's for sure

      All i have to say about the book is WOW...it is a pure gem in my opinion. I never really looked at selling products online the way Mark does. Now I have something to look forward to when I finish my book. I plan on writing a novel as well but, the Novel is going to be non-fiction and non-internet marketing related. Even though I have read TIO, I will be reading it again and as far as The Great Formula, I can't wait until it comes out.

    Yes it is a good book. It gives you 4 things that your offer MUST have in order to be irresistible. It is a quick read, and well worth it.

    If you go to simpleology.com - Mark Joyner's site, you can download the book for free. Or at least you could the last time I went there.

      have read it and listened to the audio book. it's not bad...interesting, a bit motivating, and has some good nuggets of info. overall however it's nothing groundbreaking, but if ur a newb and really don't understand what makes people pull the trigger it will likely be a very enlightening read.
